Community Matters, LLC was founded in 2017 by Licensed Professional Counselor, Tangie R. McDougald. Our Mission is to strengthen the community by providing behavioral health services and resources to families in need. We ensure everyone who walks through our doors is given the respect and dignity they deserve. 

 

The agency quickly gained the trust of its community by providing quality healthcare services in a homelike friendly environment. Due to its popularity and demand for services, Community Matters Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic for Children was formed in 2020. We service ages 5-18. We provide individual, family, and group counseling and work collaboratively with school officials and other community action agencies.
